P.B.L Enclosure

  Jasmine Bixley
My Creature is a Cheetah.
Some things I needed to consider (think about) about my creature?  My  creature needed friends to play with and a playground, also my cheetah needed food water and a bed.
Does my pet’s enclosure has these special features for my pet?
My creature’s enclosure  has a wall that slid open and closes.  It has a slide for my cheetah to run through and out the door.  It also has a bed, meat and  water bowls.
What are you pleased about?
I am pleased that I have worked very hard on my creatures home in the two days I have had because I was away on Monday and Tuesday.
I liked the colourful stones on my cheetahs playground, to go in and out doors.
What I have found tricky? I found it hard to stick the walls together and also it was hard to make the bed because the glue in the glue gun kept on drying up.
What I would like to improve? I would like to  improve the walls because they kept on falling down and the tape was sticking on me and it was annoying.

CAMP OMATUA - JASMINE

When I first got there I thought that I  had never been there before but I was wrong. Once I was shown around I finally got to know where I was sleeping. When I had made my bed I had to get my morning tea out of my day dog.  Then we went swimming in the river and we went on the tubes and the kayaks and it was very cool at the start and then it got warmer. When I hopped out I had to carry a tube up the hill to the dining room. Then we had lunch and I had a sandwich, raisins and a peach. Then we started preparing dinner so it could go on the fire and we had to wrap up the potatoes and make the Omatua soup and then we got to make the orange chocolate and the banana boat. I had to make the orange chocolate because I didn’t like the banana boat. Once it was cooked I got to eat the Omatua soup and the orange chocolate but I didn’t  eat the potato because the teacher didn’t end up giving the potatoes out.

The next day I had to make my car for the drive in movie. I had a very big box so I had the biggest

car out of all of the other people. At the start I didn't know what to do so I got  an adult to help a little bit. Then I had a plan and I got to  work. I start making the shape of a car and then I made windows for it.  After that I made two big holes and handles so I could carry it.

Animal band reader's theater - term 3 Week 7

The assembly item

On Friday September the 4th our classroom did an assembly item. It was called The Animal Band. It was fun up on stage because I enjoyed performing to an audience. Everyone laughed at Kaedyn because he used lots of expression as a scary robber.  At the end

Mr G thought we were fabulous. Kady and Mayia were narrators. Teague , Beau and Thomas were readers, and Ruby and Henrietta were the donkeys.  Kalae, Jaden, Declan and I were dogs and Sienna,  Ruby H,  Terenzo and Emma were the cats.  Nathan, Boston, Ella, Max, Jack, Liam, Lachlan,Tayla, Kaedyn were the first, second and third robbers.  Daniel, Bradley and Jerome were the roosters.

CHILDREN SHOULD BE PAID FOR DOING JOBS

In my opinion children should be paid for doing jobs.

Children should be paid for the work they do. Children should also be paid because we do a good job.  If children get jobs done they can get $1 or $5 for doing their jobs like hanging up the washing.

Children should learn to buy things.  We should learn how much things cost. Furthermore children should know how much change to get back from the shop keeper.

Children should know how to buy important things.  We should know how to be responsible because we need to know how to use money.

I therefore believe that children should get paid for doing jobs.

Pets should not be allowed in school - Term 3 Week 4

PETS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IN SCHOOL

I believe that pets should not be allowed in school.

Pets will get lost in school, it might take people all day to find it and they will not get their learning done.  I would feel worried and disappointed because the pet might be dead.

The kids might be allergic and if the kids are allergic they won’t get their work done and they will all have to go to the sick bay and everyone will be sick.  When the people are allergic to pets they will start coughing and itching and also your eyes will water.

Pets will rip all the the furniture and they might claw the curtains.
Pets will go toilet in the classrooms.

I therefore believe that pets are not allowed in schools.
